LA VENTURA was founded by Alicia Scherson on 2003 to produce and coproduce her own films and her friends' films. Up to date La Ventura has released internationally PLAY (2005) and TURISTAS (2009), directed by Alicia and VERANO (2011), directed by José Luis Torres Leiva . We are currently in production of EL FUTURO, based on a novel by Roberto Bolaño and developing two operas prima: COMPAÑEROS DE CLASE, by Moises Sepúlveda and EL PRINCIPE by Sebastián Muñoz. We have worked in coproduction with Chile, Argentina, France, Germany and Spain and received several national and international film funds and awards. We believe in the use of new technologies and innovative production strategies for making the films we like to watch possible to make.
